Alain Burguet

"It falls to the winegrower to respect and preserve the soil. Our father gave us this philosophy. We want to carry it on and pass it to the coming generations. Favour life in the vineyard, having recourse to natural solutions as far as possible, as well as in our cellar, in order to express the Terroir at its best." Jean-Luc & Eric Burguet

Rossignol Trapet

"A winegrower must preserve the healthiness of its soil, of its vines, as well as the fauna and flora living and surrounding the vineyards. Working without chemical inputs involve being constantly ready to intervene in the field and in the cellar, this is time consuming and take a lot of efforts. This choice is not without constraints but we made it by convictions, it makes us able to obtain what we are looking for in a wine : purity, elegance and structure."

The creation of the Heresztyn-Mazzini vineyard marks the beginning of a new adventure for Florence, from Burgundy, and Simon, from Champagne. After ten years spent working on the family vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, the couple decided to start their own venture.
The estate currently covers 5.5 hectares spread across the villages of Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, and Chambolle-Musigny. 2012 saw the first vintage from Heresztyn-Mazzini, an estate specialising in fine Burgundy red wines.
